Went looking at cars for the missus over the weekend. We were test driving a little opel corsa. About half way through the drive she starts braking harshly and the car was jolting forward.
I say to her "what are you doing?" (because it was on a fairly mainish road) Dead serious she looks at me.

"well your always ****eing on about brake horse power"

    hahahahahaha.

Any of you guys have experiences of bringing the OH to look at cars? :)

An ex of mine thought that my 2002 MG ZR with 105bhp was more powerful than an E36 M3 just because mine was newer :D

She nearly drove my first car off a motorway bridge with us in it. Never letting her near a manual again.

I was with my mother when she was trading in her 1996 fiesta about 10 years ago. She told them she had a ford galaxy.

Went with my wife to collect her current car from the dealer after she bought it. On the M7 on the way back I asked her to give the cruise control a try as she never had a car with it before. She promptly engages cruise and then takes her hand off the wheel ....
