Any football collectors out there?

So, as it says, do we have any football memorabilia collectors out there? If so, what's your prized piece?

In terms of value, or at least potential value my Pele signed autobiography is probably top of the pile. I'm not a great fan of his though so it's not the favourite thing I have.

Signed photos with Jack Charlton and Paul McGrath are personal favourites. Also, as a Rangers fan (sshhh, don't tell anyone) my 2008 jersey signed by the UEFA cup final squad has a special place in my collection. I could never track down Jean Claude Darcheville, so he's the only player missing. The match programme from the Holland (McAteer) game is another favourite.

Chris Hughton's jersey from the 1988 Rep vs England match. Bought it at an auction of Kenny Sansoms stuff

Pablo Dorado - scored the first ever goal in a World Cup Final

Only 11 issued at the time, but FIFA awarded medals (different design) to other members of winning squads (or their families) a few years ago

There's only 1 runners up medal - awarded to the captain of Argentina, and 1 bronze medal to the captain of the USA - I own those also;)

Variety of sources - some via auction and others from people approaching me directly knowing I have an interest. I've also got winners medals for 1950, 1954 and 1970 (player unknown). Used to buy a lot of stuff on ebay (I have a full set of United programmes from all competitive matches between the war and the Glazers taking over for example - oldest programme is a cup match Villa v United around 1903 or so) - you basically build up contacts and I found one or two when trying to search out a Estudiantes v United programme from 1968 (only a handful are known to exist, given to players and officials)

The medals are on display at the national Football Museum in Manchester and the particularly valuable programmes tend to stay in a bank vault most of the time

I thought you were joking with your first post, that's amazing!

Jebus Beasty a collection like that must be worth a fortune....even all the United programmes alone, never mind the amount of space they would take up!

Have a lot of Arsenal programmes, autographs etc and also a number of GAA programmes...if any collectors on here let me know as trying to track down some relatively recent football programmes
