Did you see that freestyle snowboarder guy in Alaska ? Holy Cow :eek:.

Liked the item with the old style skis and boots too.

Yeah there was a lot of footage from the film "the art of flight". Amazing film if you can get a chance to watch it.

I really enjoy the programme, they have a hard job of squeezing as much as possible into 50 mins and they'll never keep everybody happy.

Art of Flight is a superb movie, must be one of the best snowboarding films ever made, most of the stunts in it are pure lunacy

No coverage of Britan's first back to back world cup winner, & Poor race coverage. Thankfully Eurosport exists

Yeah agree with you about Eurosport.
As a matter if interest when was today's show filmed, obviously the Alaska part was pre-recorded( maybe even from last year) and the racing was yesterday but the other bits. Were they filmed during the week and then everything edited together into 50 min show.

I have spoken to Ed about this a few times and the Ski sunday producer was at our wedding!

They shoot all the talking bits on the Wed and Thur of the race week and then the small bits on the hill at the weekend.

There is serious potential for the show but the BBC just seem to be ticking the boxes.

Ah right I see. Did you see the coverage afterwards on the red button, there was probably another 25mins highlights of today's racing and then 5 min filler.
In fairness to the BBC they make good programmes it's just a shame they can't get that extra little bit from Ski Sunday. I'll contuine to watch it and as a magazine style programme its good and its better than nothing. But thank god for Eurosport too!!

Jvan agreed; The do a pretty good job with very limited resources and support Johnny the producer is a really nice bloke and the two presenters any time I have been in the company of Ed and Graham are very passionate about their sport and what they do.

The bit about old equipment had so much potential last night but did seem a bit rushed. The magazine programme that eurosport are doing is really good. Interviews weekly with Bodie and shred is super.

Much keep an eye out for that, when is it on? I've only ever seen racing, biathalon or jumping on Eurosport

Extreme sports (I have it on ntl's basic package) has shows on late at night that are worth recording. Re:session & Untracked are two that come to mind. I think they have the winter x-games too.

JVAN; Eurosport are showing both skier cross & Dew tour this year!! Just have a look at http://www.fis-ski.com/ for the races and double check Eurosports schedule for the day. They were meant to show the ski cross last weekend but due to the weather and the times the races were eventually run at it was a half hour highlights programme instead

Ski Cross coverage from Megeve at 11:30 tomorrow on Eurosport Ian Findley the co commentator and head coach of the British team gives great insight.
