Learners permit renewal 3 months over 5 years

    Hi,
    I need to renew my provisional drivers license but the 5 year time frame that i had to renew it was up in September 2012. does anybody know if theres any leeway if i applied for it now?

    No unfortunately. Even one day over they will not budge, you will have to start from the begining .i.e Theory,EDT etc..

    Thanks for your reply. it's going to be pretty expensive to get up and running again!

    Ud be surprised.. In Kerry (dunno about anywhere else) I got 6 lesson for 90 euro, then after my last 6 (diff instructor, yes I no diff people but was cause first guy was booked up and needed done within 2-3 weeks not months) cost around 130. 220 for 12 lessons wasn't bad.. On me actual test the guy was just picking his nose.. 229 well spent I suppose.. Lol

    Sorry was half asleep, yeah the actual examiner, he made it obvious when he was looking at me and when he wasnt, didn't get a single fault :D

    Ether he didn't give a hoot or you just done really well in your driving test. :p

    Well to be honest I just thought of the test as a normal day driving, kinda like a Sunday drive lol
