I'm looking for a hybrid. Does anyone know much about the Dell XPS 12? It seems to be really good. I wouldn't mind one in a bigger size though with a dedicated graphics card.

Yeh the XPS 12 looks the business although I haven't had a go. The XPS 10 only runs RT so I probably wouldn't bother with that. I haven't used a Dell in years so what are they like nowadays?

You'll get differing oipinions but I've always had dell and never had problems. Currently got an alienware m14x which does the biz.

Yeah I had an M11X up until a few months ago. I only sold it because most of my gaming is done on my 360. I do miss it though.

However I owned an Inspiron years ago and remember thinking a new ice age would occur before the thing actually booted up. It just took so long. This was obv years ago but a friend has a pc and I can't help but shake my head when I see how long it takes to boot. I'm currently using an iMac- on and off in 3 seconds and it's from 2008 but I'm keen to get back to Windows. Would boot times on the XPS 12 or something similar rival my Mac?

Well it'll be quick but not as quick as a mac. My boot time for windows 8 from power button press to home screen is about 30secs on my m14x
