kia sorento starting problem

    Hi folks
    I bought a 05 kia sorento about 6 weeks ago 140k on the clock, Yesterday evening i tried to start it, & it would not start. It sounded like it was not getting diesel, so I lifted the bonnet & gave a couple of pumps to the manual fuel pump, sat in again & it started straight away. It started no problem maybe 10 or twelve times last night this morning & today, but this afternoon it did the same thing again. Any ideas...... erg valve? injector problem?

    Sounds very like its drawing in air into the fuel system. Either that its a injector leaking back very quickly. Check all the pipes around the fuel filter and if there is any pipes with o rings this is where it can draw the air.

    If not get a set of bottles and check the injectors. Hope this helps if not just ask il gladly help ya
