Barcelona Golf Stag

I know , don't do it.

But, A big bunch of us are planing a Stag in Barcelona (so 2005), about 12 of us are in the same golf society. It won't be a real golf stag - just one game on first day of it.

Anybody ever try something like this - sounds like a nightmare.

Golf in spain and around Barcelona looks expensive - I'm thinking clubs and golf will be 80 to 100 euro - does not need to be a great course, but within 20 , 30 minutes of City Center.

I know , very specific - but lads seem to have done everything you can on here.

I wish all my mates were married ten years ago, when I had stamina for something like this.

Instead of golf try out the pitch and putt courses around, theres a good few around Barcelona I go over every March /April and play a few courses. It saves on the bags between 12 of you 2/3 golf bags 2/3 clubs each. Greens over there are just as good as golf greens and around the same size, big clubhouses for a few beers and food and it doesnt take too long 2hrs max so more drinking time!
You'd be paying max €20 for a game so quite cheap alternative

Thanks for that - is it sort of par 3 stuff - how long ?

Lots of the courses have either Irish style P&P max 90 meter holes and then theres a longer version up to 120meter shots. I'd imagine a 9 iron would be the longest club you'd need as some of the greens are big and 120 mtr shot could well be up to 140! I'll pm you a link to the catalan website and you can see the courses for yourself you won't be disappointed
