    Hey all,

Looking for proper Argos shops in Dublin, and/or to the West of Dublin. Want to check out a few chairs, and I can't really do that at the "Extra" Argos shops, as nothing is on display :(

There is even less in the small ones!

Argos Swords have a fairly decent selection of stuff on display

The extra shops are bigger and have more items than the normal ones, no?

    EDIT http://www.argos.ie/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/argosExtra.htm

What is the difference between a regular Argos store and an Argos Extra store?

Argos Extra stores are bigger stores that keep the full range of Argos Extra products in-store so you can take them away straightaway

Thats why you look at their stuff online or in the catalogue .

The eXtra shops have more stuff than the normal ones, but all the stuff will be behind the counter, with nothing on display, whereas the non-eXtra shops will have less stock, but more of the stock will on display.

One way to look at it is that the eXtra shops are warehouses with a counter, and the non-eXtra shops are the showrooms.

Ah come on dude! You're here long enough to know there's regional forums for this sort of thing. Please use one of those.
