Hey folks, I'm heading to Oz in 8 weeks so it might be a bit late but I was wondering how does one get a tractor license? I have a uni degree and another qualification but I want to have myself covered heading over there and know the farming boys are cleaning up. I'm a pure towny, av barely stepped foot on a farm in my life, prob tear up the fields if anything but could be worth looking into..

you could get one down under like that depending on the farm you may not have to get one- I had a friend over driving trucks moving excavators from farm to farm and had no liecence to drive a LGV - you may want some knowledge of driving a tractor IMO

I would agree with John... If you have never driven a tractor, I would not recommend you look for farm driving jobs with high power modern machines, there's a lot to do damage with!

I'd agree with that! Bro in law won't be letting me know loose on his again after I took the door off!

Totally down to lack of experience on my part, could have done far worse damage.
