I have what appears to be a diesel leak in my engine, it's a 99 Opel Astra van. It's a small spray for a second and then stops and then sprays again.
Can I drive with it? Say to the garage, 8 miles away?

Talk to your mechanic, some don't mind getting off their arse:D and going to you for a problem like this. If he doesn't need a lift then he might be willing to fix it in the drive, that or many insurance policies cove breakdown, not sure if it is on your drive, some policies don't cover driveway breakdowns.

Its the leak off pipes on the injectors. Very common and €2 fix.

Is it the injectors are leaking or the pipes leading to the injectors?

This sounds like it, I take it there are four injectors in the front of the engine? One of them is leaking.
I've the van at home, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't do any harm driving a few miles on it.

Not sure, it's right down where the pipe joins the injector (nut)

It's only the pipe so, shouldn't cost much to replace. It could be crossed threads or maybe the nut wasn't tightened enough.

It was a leak at the end of the pipe. A small piece of rubber was used to fix it. Thanks
