Calor vs. Flogas

I just moved in to a house that has a Bulk LPG tank supplied by Calor for the central heating. They sent out a contract with the pricing and terms - €147 per annum standing charge, 84.2 cent per liter excl. VAT. I thought this was very expensive so I decided to ring Flogas to see what their prices are - €107 per annum standing charge, 72.5 cent per liter incl. VAT. Plus they will give me 300 litres free for switching.

I was very surprised with the price discrepancy here - more 20 cent per litre when you add the VAT to the Calor price. Does this seem right? Its impossible to find pricing on either website.
Anyone have experience with LPG? I have seen threads here complaining about both suppliers, but I don't really want to fork out to switch to oil.

    Ring Calor & ask them.
Generally with Calor you will pay €100 per year standing charge which is tank rental/maintenance. You should also pay 70cent per litre incl VAT. If it is a large house, you could even negotiate 65 cent per litre.
