I'm not sure of the implications to the members or this forum but I thought that this should be brought to everyones attention.

There I was thinking that newspapers are always trying to increase the number of people reading their articles....... Guess I was wrong.

That's about as trustworthy a source as the Daily Fail

At least these guys have it from the horses mouth

From what I read, it's business as usual in terms of linking, but the Copyright content still applies.

It's impossible to charge people for linking to content, nor would you want to. Search engines would go out of business overnight if people attempted to charge for links (since all a search engine really does is provide you with links).

Charge for links? Great idea for a revenue stream, Ted.

Apart from it being rubbish what exactly has it to do with Survivalism?

Stuck in the wilderness, only my trusty knife for company, need to link to the Sun now!

What exactly has it to do with survivalism? Not a lot but some of the threads here do have links to newspapers sites. I thought that I was helping the site and its members by bringing it to their attention.
If it is "rubbish" then I can only say that I am sorry for trying to help.
I didn't think that it called for the sarcasm of your comment. And you as a Moderator should have higher standards.

I apologise to to all those who have read this thread for wasting their time. It will not happen again.

I meant the article itself is rubbish as in it's completely inaccurate. The headline itself is totally misleading.

What you interpreted as sarcasm was actually a poor attempt at humour.

There is a thread on Feedback about the NNI position (which they have revised by the way).

In other news, if I manage to get buried under rubble, rescue folk won't need dogs to find me in another while.
