Just want to let everyone know that our vintage club, The Shamrock Car and Machinery Club, which is based in Co. Kildare, have just set up our new facebook page.

If your on facebook, and your into Classic and Vintage cars, trucks, motorbikes, tractors etc... we would greatly appriciate your support by liking our page. Its for everyone all over Ireland that has an interest in Classic cars and vehicles, and the Irish vintage movement.

Its wont to be an ghost town page either, it will be updated two or three times a week with interesting pictures of classic vehicles, show exhibts and classic car news, so its worth the 'like'

At the moment we are also compiling a photo album of abandonded classics in Ireland, which will should make for interesting viewing.

You can acces the page via this link:

Thanks in advance for your support :)

A great idea for clubs, every club should have a website or page these days, handy for keeping up to date with stuff.

Intersting pics and videos :), would never have guessed the minx, looks like your show as a big enough affair, whens it on?

Thanks Testacalda, show grows every year, its on the may bank holiday. We will have regular updates with photos, videos and stuff going on in the club and with the vintage scene in general... Some people got the Hillman Minx, not the other one yet though ;)

Thanks manta mad, we are starting to get a few likes coming in now and yea, Some of the Shamrock members have some very rare and interesting equipment, the plan is to use the page to allow people to see pictures and videos of them, and also follow a few of the on going restorations

How's that old Kadett, still around or was it squished
