Recruitment sites that actually list salaries

Can anyone recommend a recruitment site that actually displays the salaries that are on offer? I won’t mention any sites like recr…………ie that seem to list loads of jobs, mostly from recruitment agencies, with negotiable in for 99% of the jobs listed.

The reason I think it’s important is because I don’t want to apply for a job at the wrong salary range, as it tends to draw recruitment agents on you each time you apply.

Meh, even if they did, I wouldn't trust it. Not in Ireland. Have never gotten a job here at the salary that it was originally advertised at. Sometimes I've been able to tell them to go take a run and jump, but sometimes my motivations were not salary driven and I took it. Always left a sour taste in my mouth though.

Some recruitment agencies do a salary survey of various positions, across different levels and industries. See here for some examples.

Alternatively apply directly to companies and when it gets to the negotiation stage you are in the driving set.

I think you are right to be wary of agencies - deal with companies that advertise positions directly for your experience.

What sector? I've had it happen once in the past five jobs I've had iirc.

I've always found if I apply for something and the agency think I'm a good candidate they call me quickly, after a few minutes first question I ask is what the salary is.

It's as likely to be the company not releasing the salary range as it is the agency or jobs website.

Many companies will only work through an agency, due to the huge volume of applications. If you only go direct to companies, there's a good chance you're cutting out a lot of options.

It would be nice for a recruitment site that had a tick box to remove all the jobs that require a foreign language

Many job websites have an advanced search feature where you can do things like "don't display jobs with any of these words", so you can put in german, french, spanish, etc., or "language" or something like that.
