JSA Claim Problem

I recently finished a long FAS course after being on unemployment allowance for close to a year, but before the course I was certain I wouldn't be coming out to a job so I was worried I'd have to redo my claim, but everyone I asked including FAS/Social welfare told me my claim would be paused and if I needed it which tbh I knew I would, they would give it back to me.

I went into the Social yesterday only to be given the same forms I had to fill out over a year ago when I first claim, there even seems to be some new BS in them asking dopey questions.

So like I'm wondering has anyone else had to go through this? I know what this means, I'm going to be waitin at least a month before I can have any sort of pay again! Ugh this is so infuriating thank god I had the sense to save money but it's only a few hundred Euros!

It shouldn't take long to reprocess your claim and update it but, in the meantime, you should apply for Supplementary Welfare Allowance.
