00 Audi A3 - brake pedal issue

    Hey,
I’ve got a small problem with my 00 Audi A3. Recently when slowing down, just before I come to a stop and put my foot down on the clutch I sometimes get a shudder and slight grinding noise through the brake pedal. It doesn’t happen every time but seems to be occurring slightly more often now.

I dropped the car into the garage before Christmas but they didn’t find anything.

A couple of months ago I got a wheel speed sensor changed as the ABS warning light was coming on. The ABS warning light is now intermittently coming back on again. Might the brake pedal issue be related to the ABS warning light?

    Thanks

Yes, it sounds like the ABS is activating when it shouldn't be. It should be an easy enough diagnosis for someone who is familiar with the cars.
