It happens on the Late Late, the Frontline, Brendan O Connor etc....

I dont see it on similar UK shows..... do they not have monitors for the studio audiences or have they just dispensed with the novelty of picking out and concentrating on showing a "lucky" individual's face to the nation? :rolleyes:
