I think there is some pretty believable miracle evidence here.

    What are your opinions?

Do you think this could relate to this passage from Revelation?
    Revelation 12
1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

    Miracles happen.

whatever way God slaps you on the head to get your attention is up to him I guess, but on the Charismatic side of life, and I mean both RC and Prod, folks just pray for healings and sometimes God says yes.

I've seen numerous healings that have baffled doctors and never seen a vision of any saints or Mary.

and it seems that the more God answers a persons prayers, the more faithful they become, so God answers more of thier prayers......

I'm not dissing the Marian visions, just that these haven't been my experience.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is also Protectress of the Unborn.

On April 24th 2007 the Municipal Council of Mexico legalised Abortion. Mexico was one of the few remaining countries where abortion was illegal.

The same day abortion was legalised in Mexico, after a mass offered for unborn children, it seems a very intense light appeared suddenly on the Tilma. At the level of the womb, the light appeared like a shiny halo, in the shape of an embryo. Experts have testified that it is not a reflection or something added, rather it comes from the Tilma and is in the exact location of a woman's womb. Witnesses were able to take photographs and even to film the phenomenon that went on for a full hour.

By posting this I didn't mean to create any division between RC and Prod, on the contrary. Our Ladys mission is not to receive any glory or worship herself but to lead any souls who call her to Christ. Nothing saying you can't go directly to Christ yourself either. But lets not create another Marian debate when we need unity now in the face of some horrible common problems. I think we are all brothers and sisters.

This post is to highlight miracles or supernatural phenomena, which some people need to see to help them believe.

    Absolutely.

I KNOW Miracles happen on the RC side of things too, and sometimes God can use a weird phenomenon to get everyones attention.

Peter walking on water was pure showboarting and achieved NOTHING other than getting folks attention!

the idea of crying statues and glowing icons will cause many a prod to grumble, but not me!!

the importance is, like you say, to avoid worshipping the phenomenon and keep the adulation going to Jesus......

while the Holy Spirit does the good stuff!!

Did our lady of Guadalupe ask a young boy to write down her message which I believe was a message about the current state of the catholic church.

St Juan Diego an indigenous native American from Mexico was in his 50's when he witnessed the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Here is quite a good synopsis

There are miracles happening regularily down in achaill in the house of prayer,I seen them with my own eyes, all sorts of cancers cured, you just have to be open to seeing them and let the power of the holy spirit do it's work.

There's a cure for cancer in Achill?

Seriously though, do you realise how momentous a statement you are actually making. A cure for cancer? You're getting into dangerous territory here my friend. It sounds like people are being told they are cured, even though they mightn't be. Reminds me of the people who were encouraged (and did so, too) to throw their medication onto the stage during Peter Popoff's faith healing shows.

There are many miracles happening the world over, holy lights in the church of the sepulchre in Jerusalem, many incorrupt bodies of saints, many stigmatics, much healing even healing of people who didn't expect it (rules out the placebo affect as per Athiests), holy oil exuding from icons sealed in a glass jar in Damascus to name a few. I thought the house of prayer in Achill was advised against as an approved occurrence by the church but I don't want to put it down either. I think it is going a little off topic and would rather not start a debate on its validity on this thread.

Please keep praying to prevent abortion coming to Ireland. Lets unify on this one. If abortion comes to Ireland I think a greater evil than we ever knew will start taking our country over.
