Pain after a filling . . .

    Hi,
I got two white fillings this morning. One on the bottom left and one on the top right.

Since the numbness wore away I have a pain in my jaw when I open my mouth. I think thats just from the injection, but whats concerning me is that I just ate a cereal bar and when eating it really hurt the tooth on the right side?

Is this normal? I havnt had a filling since I was a child and then it was only one (one of those silver things)

If it still pains after a few days go back and have them sort it out. I got the same thing a while ago and went back after a week. I was told it was completely normal and could hurt like that for a month.

3 months later I went to a compitent dentist who told me the filling was sitting on the nerve and I needed a root canal.

There seems to be a few cowboys in Irish dentisrty.
