    Hi all
I am looking to get some information of leaving college and in receipt of back to education allowance

I am currently on job seekers and i went back to college last year because i was sick of sitting around but i have been offered an internship that i would like to take
I received the once off payment of €300 for the back to education allowance and i get my weekly payment

What i want to know is will the social welfare penalize me for dropping out ?

You will have to sign back on. If there is any delay with the payments you will get them backdated. So no there should not be any penalty, just a bit of hassle.

You will have to pay back the €300.
