Do the bolts have the correct seat? (round, tapered, flat) Does the wheel fit flush against the drum/disc? Does the wheel touch any suspension components? Does the rattle go away with the original wheel fitted?

i bought alloys bolts for them, they are tapered. they seem to fit okay, the alloys dont fit flush against the drum, the drum can move in and out when the alloy is on

Sorry I missed some of ur reply, it doesn't touch anything with the suspension and there is no rattle with the original wheel on, thanks again

If they don't fit flush, I assume the centre bore on the wheel is too small?

When I took the wheel off, there were tiny bits of metals on the hub like the alloys was being worn, is there anything that can be done?

You need spigot rings I'd say. Any idea what car they came off?

Are they the actual renault wheels or they aftermarket?

Pcd is 4x100, centre bore on the hub of the Nissan is 1mm more which doesn't really explain what you've described.

Are the bolts too long by any chance? As in you tighten them all the way but they're not holding the wheel on?

They seem to fit fine up on the jack, until I start moving, there are after market wheels, the rattling wasn't always there just keep getting worse so I had to stop driving altogether, I only put one alloy on

Take wheel off, screw the bolt all the way in without the wheel, see how far it goes in. Measure.

    Compare with the wheel.

If they're aftermarket wheels they could have any size of centre bore.
Measure the hole in the middle of the wheel for the craic

Is the centre of the wheel all damaged now so?

i will do this tomoro, ive have changed that wheel so many tyres already and its lashing down outside, there is a picture earlier i dont think the centre is damaged, the rattling seem to be coming from brake drum, it gets worse when i brake at slow speeds, i never knew alloys could be so much bother
    thanks

Check if the wheel actually turns freely. Could be fouling the caliper.

I don't know anything about alloys tbh, but would it not make a difference if all the new alloys were put on together or does that matter? I would have thought putting on one 15" alloy with three 14" ones would make a difference...

I've been trying to decide what to do about alloys for my '09 Seat for a while now but I've figured my best bet is to just go and get them fitted properly because I'd probably just f*ck up the whole car :(

It wouldn't cause the symptoms described, but yes you're right it's bad practice.
No worse than using a space saver wheel though.
