Interclub Draws for 2013

Anyone know why all other provinces except Leinster are available on GUI site? Its my first year(hopefully) as an inter-club player and all the other draws seem to be up since before Xmas...

They had a disclaimer up last week stating that the draws would be up early part of this week.

Just had an email off them and they "will" be published by the end of this week.

I did ask the question but they didnt bother to answer that part.....the website guru must be off till end of the week as nothing has been updated this year.

In fairness, even if it wasn't until the start of March, it'd still be plenty of time. What's the panic?

Fair enough.

If it's Barton Cup, you can more or less take whoever you played 3 or 4 years ago, and it'll be one of those two clubs in R1.

not that its a panic SS - just every other province has theirs done and we feel neglected

I see the Leinster Branch have re-advertised the Tournament Secretary position which could be some of the reason behind the delay.

Whoever got the job a few months ago must be gone

think thats a bit unfair on Leinster Golfers when all other regions have theirs since before Xmas though?????

I for one was excited about seeing the fixtures. Hoping (fingers crossed I get picked!) I am picked to play some inter-club golf as its my first year eligible!!!

Dont disagree but it has been the same the last few years

They'd want to get a bloody move on. There's only 5 months to go to Jimmy Bruen, and a mere 12 weeks to Barton Cup.

doesnt matter SS - principle of the matter. Every other province has this information...

Just down to the number of clubs in Leinster, I think. There would be a lot more in Leinster than Munster for example.

Tried to open the Junior Cup link and it keeps crashing.

Qualifing is on 25-26 May. Metro is on in Clontarf, Grange Castle, Greystones and Killeen. Provincial is on in Birr, Courtown, Moyvalley and Seapoint. There's also qualifying in Balcarrick on 18th and 26th

That ought to be a good game. Will be a one or two past members of the opposition on both sides.

Same fixture in 2010 (I think) was won by Beech Park, with 3 matches there.
