Ok i bought this watch and for some reason it does not seem to work
It is said to be solar powered-self charging.
But the only thing that moves is the bottom left and centre hand.
    Weird.
Went into shop and they said to open it.
Could not be arsed any ideas ??
(P.S)Please do not say ask the person you bought it off because i already did and If i get it somehow working I do not want to return it so I will see if there is anyone who can give me the cause or method to fix
I tried ti carry it around times outside but no good still same

    It needs a battery!
Its not solar powered the automatic mechanism is only for show and only moves the second hand. The minute and hour hands are driven by a quartz movement that needs a battery.

    Ryath,

Apologies in advance for the dumb question but I recently bought a Seiko solar diver.

I know it has a battery that is charged by solar, but I had kinda assumed that the watch would come with a battery. I have been trying to charge it using artificial light as the instruction booklet said that this would do it. (the booklet didn't make any reference to needing to put in a battery) but its still not working.

Any idea if comes with a battery?

    Thanks

    TbL

These watches use a Manganese titanium-lithium rechargeable battery. This should only need replacing every few decades IMO so that should not be your problem.
If the manual has a reference on how to 'reset' the watch then try this, it may jig it in to life. But if not I would take it back to the supplier because the battery in there may be shot for some reason.
