I applied for a level 5 major course in business administration. The entry requirements state "minimum leaving certificate, level 4 major award or equivalent". The lady in fas told me the equivilent would be practical experience. I ran my own business for over a year, am used to dealing with customers, preparing and filing tax returns ect. I also did a level one (equivalent to hetac level 6) module (no certification as it was component course) with the open university. Will this course and the work experience be sufficient?

    Thanks :)

I know a guy who did this course no previous experience in anything just a junior cert. Btw don't do it with Fás. Your local VEC will offer this and you can apply for the BTE allowance if you qualify for it. €300 book/material grant

The cost of education allowance no longer exists thanks to Budget 2013.
