    Hi.

I ordered stuff of them on the 25/11 and have not received it yet. I have contacted them a few times and they have told me to hold on.

Does it take this long for stuff to be delivered?

Normally it takes 4 to 6 weeks if unlucky yes (keep in mind holiday seasons will delay deliveries further).

Quickest I ever got an item was 2 - 3 weeks. Longest about 5. With the festive period it could have got delayed but yours should arrive soon. If you paid with paypal and it's approaching the 45 day limit or whatever limit it is, just open a dispute. You don't need to escalate it right away. I'd open the dispute as late as possible to give it time to arrive.

OP at this time of the year it usually takes around 2 months if not more to receive delivery because of the holidays and Chinese new year which brings every thing to a halt for about a week.

EDIT: never mind Chinese new year isn't til February this year.

The only reason for concern is that I ordered stuff from China via ebay the same dag and that arrived about 2 weeks before xmas..

    The way dealextreme works follows:
    1. You order from DX
    2. DX orders from their suppliers
    3. Supplier ships to DX
    4. DX Ships to you

Sometimes they will keep the most popular items in stock but for the majority of stuff that's how it works.

I ordered some stuff on the 11th of october, Been trying unsuccessfully to get a refund on it not turning up for a week or so at this stage, 10 messages to customer support later I've given up and filed a dispute in paypal.

Paypal will do nothing for you as it is past the 45 day threshold for starting a dispute.

Also I believe the seller only has a 90 day window to refund before it's not possible on paypal. That was the story I got from sellers before anyway.

Just fyi 88 days have passed since you ordered.

Ah balls, thanks for the heads up anyway. It was only €6 but I wont make that mistake again!

    Dealsurprise :pac:

By the time the package arrives you've forgotten what you've ordered. All you know is that it is a pressie picked by your self.

Great to hear you got it :)

At any other time of the year you can expect faster delivery. Sometimes just 2 weeks bust the average I find is 4 weeks.
