La vs Orlando costs

    Hi,
    We went to Orlando last year and loved it. The theme parks were great shopping in the outlets was great. We were considering going back this year but now thinking of La the question is how much more expensive is la to Orlando more talking about when your there eating out etc also what is the shopping like in la there were some great deals in the outlets in Orlando is it cheap price wise shopping in la. any advice would be appreciated

    Los Angeles is a sprawling urban jungle rather than a city. Everything is a drive away. All the main things to see are in kinda dodgy areas, in and out is the best way to do it. Universal studios are right there but Disneyland is about an hours drive south in Anaheim. Best outlets in southern California IMO are just outside Palm springs.

    If you're looking for an Orlando type experience, you won't get it in LA.
