Over in Oz at the mo.Bought a big tub of protein powder and was using it away.Had to leave to up the country for work and now back after 8 months and found it hasn't been used. The foil seal is off but it's been in a snap top since I went.
Think it's still good to use???
Don't mind shelling out for a new tub but sure if it's there might aswell use it.

    Any info?

Is there no bb date on the tub?
It's probably ok. If it's not alright it will taste funny

    As above.

Protein has what is known as a best before end date.

On average the protein itself is good in optimal storage conditions for about five years.

However the flavours may not last quite as long.

Oz can get quite hot so was it stored somewhere that did not get overly hot as in above 25C?

Humidity is an enemy of freshness as well.
