    I ordered components for a build a month ago tomorrow. I received them by UPS 3 days after they were in stock. Very happy.

    Gleefully, I tore open Box #1 :The case was broken. Okay , its not necessarily their fault, it could have happened in transit
    Box #2 :the monitor was sticky and used and without cables. Now I'm annoyed.

    I rang them up and they basically told me to do it through the website . I sent it off and rang to tell them. Broken English ; No progress.

    Christmas passed , still nothing .I emailed on about the 28th and got no reply.The next day my case arrived in the post. This one was also broken. Decided to use this case until they replied to my email. They never did.
    Emailed again yesterday, no reply.

    There's still nothing and I'm really annoyed by now. Have I any rights here? because this is driving me mad. There is no communication from them at all except for one automated email saying they would answer me as soon as possible. Also I payed by bank transfer and payed for the trusted shops thing if that matters.

    Any help appreciated

    Did you order "special items"? That would mean that they're returned or B grade.

    Yes the monitor was, I didn't know that but I still expect a decent monitor and it to include the power cable!

    I am using the case at the moment, but I still expect a replacement. I'm going to ring them today.

    Just curious, what case is it and what do you mean by broken?

    It's also rather unrealistic to expect a response between Christmas and new years, most places everywhere would shut up for at least that week, if not an extra week

    Its a CM HAF XM.
    The first one was cracked on the top cover where the screw goes in and on the side of this cover.
    The second one was broken on on parts where the screws screw in to secure the IO and USB to the chassis.
    I understand the delays of the holidays but its the 5th of Jan by now and not a word.

    The power cable you'd have received would've been a european 2 pin so you'd have needed to use your own anyway (unless you have an adapter)

    Yeah I know but an adapter is not a problem. I don't have a power cable. Its not the standard 3pin like the one on the power supply or old monitors.

    Does the monitor require an external power supply? Is that what you are missing?

    Yes with a power converter in between. Any monitor I have seen that does not use the standard kettle power lead has had an external PSU.
    What make and model is it?

    LG FLATRON IPS236V and yeah it has a power supply :/

    Still no email, I payed with bank transfer which is something I'm not used to. Have I any rights here, like can I do or say anything or am I completely at their mercy?

    Did you check your spam filter. That's were all their emails went for me.
