Mercedes 220CE keyless central locking

    hi all. My latest purchase is a 1995 220 coupe. I have a couple of issues. The central locking doesn't work from the keyfob. I've re synched it and checked that the fob works. All the fuses Are good. Anyone got any ideas.

    Make sure you have checked all the fuses, sometimes there's another bank of them under the dashboard or in the boot. If that doesn't work just go to an auto electrician, if he's any good he'll pinpoint your problem and fix it at a reasonable cost.

    Cheers for that, problem is that this is car no3 and i promised myself that I would do as much of the work myself as possible. I have all the WIS information but said I'd ask first. It also needs a suspension rebuild and other bits which I'll do myself

    Does the light on the door handle come on when you press the button on the remote? Did you check the battery in it?

    The light on the door handle doesn't come on. The batteries are good ion the remote
