Sky planner rebuild

    Hi All,

    My sky hd box and remote got very slow and unresponsive yesterday evening after turning it on. Literally 20 seconds between selecting a channel and it actually appearing on screen.
    It then failed to record the couple of programmes that were due to record and still appeared on the planner as a programme to record hours later.

    A quick browse through sky help forums looked to advise carrying out a planner rebuild. The first step is to hit the services button followed by 0 0 1.

    I tried this but get a message that this "menu is not available whilst 2 recordings are in progress" eventhough nothing is recording.

    Any ideas??

    Hold down backup button on the box & plug the box out & in again while still holding the button.This will do a force download of the latest firmware.It could be just a bad update that the box got.



    If that fails then: Plug the box out & in again,then try to do a rebuild.

    A rebuild of the planner should be a last resort as you'll lose all your recordings.

    Loosing all our recordings is the very last thing i want to do!!
