Back then I was in the US we use to have a store called trader joes. It's supermarket with many different healthy food choices. What made that place special is the size of the store. So huge with many options.

Now I went to dunnes and tesco and they don't have what I am looking for. Also went to holland & something, the place was so small and what they offered was so limited.

I know they place you're talking about - god send.
Unfortunately I do not know of any place quite like it in Ireland.
Which county are you in and are you just looking for small food or a full week's groceries?

To be fair we might not have any large health shops but most "larger" supermarkets offer a wide range of fruit, veg, organic foods, nuts, seeds, fish and meats.
The likes of your supplements can easily be bought online, Holland and Barret's and the health store.

agreed with www.iherb.com and just two days shipping and shipping cost of €8.

Really depends on what you need. asian markets are great for many of the bulk buy items e.g. coconut oil, nuts, rice etc

+1. They can also have stuff in bulk out back or get it in for you. Same with some health shops, probably more likely in independent ones than H&B.

I asked about getting some grain in bulk in my local health shop and it was something like a 3kg bag rather than the 500g ones they stock, it was about half the price per kilo though.
