It's shite and at 329e it's over-priced ****e. For that kind of money you're much better off going second hand or, failing that, the triban in decathalon or one of the carreras in halfords.

    From the website...
14 SPEED 14 speed? So crappy shimano tourney components and outdated freewheel hubsThe Viking Giro D' Italia is the perfect bike for standing out in the crowd Because you'll look like a chump. With its fantastic yellow paint finish its sure to be a winner. Great pricecheaper online but still not worth it, awesome specyeah, if this was 1962 and amazing quality lightweight aluminium frameum... no. First established in Wolverhampton in 1908 the Viking brand has a history, rich in the tradition of top quality road bikes and throughout the centurybut now the bikes are made in China by a completely different company who just bought the rights to use the name. Quality, style and durability have always been the hallmarks of Viking cyclesBut not for the last 30 years. If you have every yearned to go a little faster ? A little further ? Or just got tired of the feeling of riding in quicksand on a mountain bike ? Then perhaps the new 2011 Viking Race bikes are the bikes for youBut then again perhaps not. Constructed from lightweight aluminium and equipped with top quality components, they offer a practical alternative to sluggish mountain bikesonly you'd be much better off buying a bike from a company who know the meaning of the words 'quality control'. Weighing in at just under 12kgspretty feckin' heavy for a road bike, the 2011 Viking Giro D' Italia is features a 14 Speed transmission with indexed frame mounted gear shiftersThe 90's called, they said you could keep this crappy technology because they don't want it back. 23c Slick shit tyres are fitted to 32 hole Viking deep section rims badly laced to alloy hubs. The gear system comprises of a 14-28 freewheel on the rear and a double 52-39 alloy chainsetYou'd probably be better off with a compact starting out. Alloy brake levers and alloy calliper brakes are fitted to slow the bike in all conditionsmight even stop it if it's dry out and you're not going too fast. Model Type: Race. Frame Construction: Handcrafted 6061 aluminium with mudguard clearance. Forks: Hi-Ten steel with tapered blades and mudguards clearance. Wheel Size: 700c with 23c all black slick road tyres. Gear System: 14 speed downtube (frame mounted) gear shifters. Alloy chainset with alloy cranks.14-28 Shimano freewheel. Wheel Specification: 36 Hole Viking 700c deep alloy rims with CNC walls I thought they were 32 hole a minute ago. Black spokes. Alloy hubs, quick release front axle so solid rear axle? Jesus christ. Brakes: Alloy brake levers. Alloy side pull calliper brakes. Handlebar and Stem: Alloy ahead stem and 42cm Race bars with black cork tape. Additional Information:Viking race saddle, micro adjust seat pin. Sealed cartridge bottom bracket. Steel caged pedals with toe clips and straps. Weight: 11.90 kg. Frame Colour: Yellow. Fork: Black. Please note that our bikes come in factory box and do require some assembly..unfortunately because of poor production standards many of the nuts and bolts which may need to be tightened will round-off or strip thread on first site of an allen key so full assembly might prove an impossible dream
