My Mame cab

    Took a few snaps of my cab last night when I was working on it.
    Built it about 6 years ago and still working on it!
    excuse the crappy photos.
    this years plan is for a bigger monitor.
    going to measure it up over the weekend.
    When I built it I was a total novice to the arcade scene.
    A few things I would of done differently are!!
    its tall.I mean really tall!But its very nicely proportioned.
    I based it off a neo geo MVS cab.
    I should of put the CP at a shallower angle so you can play standing up for longer as it tires the wrists unless your sitting down.
    Its also super heavy but thats not a bat thing.made of 18mm mdf.
    I didnt know about t-moulding when I made i and I'm glad!I would of cheapened it I think.
    Ive to make a new marquee and get a new Bulb for the trackball.I lights up blue to match the back light.

    Interesting layout of joystick and buttons, how do you find the joystick being higher than the buttons?

    I was just thinking that myself. I would have though that would make it a little uncomfortable to play? Still, fairplay for putting it all together

    hay,
    No its not uncomfortable at all,
    I was tight for space as its no to wide so had to go that way.
