Damp on north facing wall

IN our current house (built 2001/2002) the bedroom wall and ensuite facing north have some black mould on them.
The living room and main bathroom also face this direction on the same floor level but don't suffer with this.
We have new wardrobes put in in 2005 and I wonder was this the start of it?
All our clothes are mildewy and shoes covered in mould There are black spots in cornder of ensuite wall, ceiling and floor.
When you open our wardrobe door a blast of cold air hits you.
I have tried a dehumidfier but its not doing much.
Could it be the shower? the wardrobes (did the chap cover over that white vent in the wall perhaps?)...
    any ideas welcome!

    Also:
there is terrible condensation on the windows in kitchen (east facing) and the rubber seals around the glass are starting to go mouldy. Worse when cooking of course. We installed a cooker hood but it never ever worked- couldn't get anyone to get it to extract (not the hood fault something in the attic?) The ones in the bathrooms never worked either- is there someone who fixes these- nether an electrician nor a general builder could.

You probably have answered your own question here!

Very strange ... maybe look for a better / competent tradesman. Remember that an extractor fan is only as good as what it is connected to. If there is a large resistance (convoluted duct work) attached then the ability of the fan to do its job is severly curtailed.
