what connection do I need

Lads I bought this cd drive for my Mitx build.

But the power connection isnt your standard sata...The top connection is your standard sata cable and the lower one is the same but about 2/3 smaller... here is a pic.

Can anyone tell me what connetion I need to get this running..
I have never seen that before

The long one is the power connection (from the PSU)

The short one is the data connection (from the MB)

Sata cable from drive to MB

The long one is the same size as data to MB..
So What your saying is that I need a cable to go from psu(molex)to standard sata(data) connection..
to fit the long one..Thats for power?

And get a standard sata to small sata for the data...?

You need a special connection for it normal SATA wont work. Its called a Slimline SATA cable

Just looked at that again. According to the cable suggested above it appears to be an Optiarc laptop drive.
