Kincora files strangely absent from Government records.

    To be honest Im not surprised by this at all.

    Many people believed in the Protestant community that the killing of the Rev Robert Bradford (in many ways not exactly a nice person and one who believed that the Scotch Irish were one of the lost tribes of Israel) by the PIRA had British state collusion (it was very suspicious about how is guard just seemed to vanish at the needed time) because he was going to go public with what he knew about this horrible scandal involving the abuse of young boys.

    We have recently discovered just how many members of the British establishment around the Thatcher government were involved in child abuse.

    We can only wonder who is possibly being protected.

    I doubt any of these abusers cared what race/nationality/religion they or their victims were.

    I agree. This problem isnt exclusive to the British establishment either. The Irish have had their fair share of abuse cases that have no connection to GB. The only common link is the cover-ups. How could the abuse of children go on for so many generations without been noticed?

    Kincora was primarily a nasty paedophile/abuse ring. I can only hope the documents were withheld in case prosecutions can still be brought.
    Fear they were withheld to protect the reputations of those still alive.

    Lord Mountbatten asked for a local boy to accompany him on visits to Ireland. Several government figures had links to Kincora. They will still protect people connected to the government or monarchy even after death.

    Have we? Can you link to evidence of that, other than the defamatory accusations against the totally innocent lord McAlpine.

    Unfortunately, I feel that your hope of future prosecutions is in vain. If you look at many paedophile rings that have been uncovered the world over. You often see a sophisticated network of sick individuals, who have insidiously worked their way into positions of power and influence. I fear we have only brushed the tip of the iceberg regarding such abuse rings.
