Attracted to a friend...

    Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not (If not please feel free to move it) but here is the issue anyway:

    I'm 18 years old and have become attracted to one of my best friends. Now I have never been attracted to another man in my life and still see no attraction at all to any other man so I presumed that this was just something that would pass very quickly but it has instead gone on for about 6 or 7 months. I really don't know what to do as it is something that is starting to weigh me down a lot and I am thinking about it a lot but I really value my friendship with this person and wouldn't want to ruin it. The person in question is bisexual btw but has shown no interest in me (as said I don't have any attraction to any other male so everyone sees as straight)

    Should I just tell the friend how I feel or just hope that the feelings pass over time? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

    You could just have a crush on this guy, admire him etc. That is quite common at your age. I had a crush on a woman once when I was a lot younger, but not in a sexual way, just thought she was gorgeous and couldn't stop looking at her. I don't know if your attraction goes deeper, but I would not tell this guy if I were you, I would wait and see if this attraction wears off. Are you attracted to women?
