    hi folks,can someone recommend a weight related excercise to build up the muscle around my knees??are squats my best option??

    olympic barbell

    also look at reverse lunges
    single leg squats
    single leg deadlifts

    do you mean quads and hamstrings? if you have knobbly knees it's probably because you have poor posture...most likely flat feet or misaligned hips. go to a physio and get it checked out.
