Boards PW 2013 Draft sign up thread...reserves still welcome

    So.... it's back!

    here is last years picks thread's OP, incase you dont know what your getting yourself into. There may be some small tweaks but the rules will be essentially the same so if they are an issue with you check em now before signing up.

    There usually isnt an issue getting enough people to take part though and this is done on a first come first served basis (with the exception of former winners and the organiser this year... not me...who have made their intention to compete again known) and we will have a reserve list hopefully incase anyone cant continue due to you know life getting in the way.

    So 20 draftee's are needed (plus any reserves), do you want to be one of them? if so simply state your intent to take part below and you will.


    o and until the actual draft starts, most likely not too long after this thread has run its course... here is this years Discussion thread

    This thread will be re-opened at 1pm Irish time on January 2nd

    Previous winners who have either PM'd me or shown an interest in competing again via the discussion thread and this years draft organiser are auto-matically entered and taking advantage of this being my last action with regards helping run the draft the first 4 draftee's for 2013 will be

    If anyone else is regretting not getting involved, put your name down now and there is a very strong possibility you could be taking part too as we have already had someone miss their go and if they do so again at the end of the 1st round they will be out and hopefully replaced by whoever is willing to sign up now.

    what i'd suggest then is...

    the groutch think of who he would pick for this round. send it to one of the organisers. if SureWouldntYa doesn't show up, you or an organiser can throw up the pick immediately once the deadline is up so the groutch doesn't lose out on a pick, and the thing can move as quickly as possible.

    obviously if SureWouldntYa comes back, all well and good.

    i'd still vouch for not waiting. if he hasn't come in since he signed up, he's not going to come back IMO.

    He has also logged into boards a few times since his turn which means he's either not seeing PMs that will have been sent to him or he's not bothered responding to them.

    It doesn't bode well for his interest in the game either way.
