I'm really taken aback by that comment. I know this is After Hours but can you put it in to context for me. (don't mean anything by the question BTW)

Becoming a property owner for the first time. Plus visiting some of the areas worst hit by the tsunami in Japan. Otherwise a pretty dull year to be honest.

Competing in a white collar boxing match, I got my ass kicked but the sense of achievement was awesome not to mention the personal journey along the way.

Finishing my Leaving Cert and getting 545 points, getting me into Trinity College. So starting college is a highlight of 2012 too. Breaking up with what seemed like a soulmate was a lowlight however.

Going out the back for a fag on Sept 21st and witnessing that amazing meteor shower passing right by.

On line videos do not do it justice at all. I thought it was Chinese lanterns first but the noise and speed of it made me realise it was something else. It only lasted about 20 seconds before it passed so I was really poxed to have nicotine calling at that precise time.

    Off for another fag now!!!

It's been a pretty average year. No stand out moments really.

Highlights are probably a toss up between getting a new dog, getting Distinction in an exam and very enjoyable day I spent at Blenheim Palace.
