Understanding salary and taxes

    Hi,

    I recently started a full-time job just before Xmas. The revenue said they would send out in early January a copy of my tax credits for the year 2013.

    I am contributing a percentage of my salary to a pension scheme in work.I am being paid monthly also.

    I am just wondering is a there website that could give me an explanation of my monthly payslip etc. so I have an understanding of what is coming out of my salary for pensions/taxes/other government charges etc.
