Novena to St Joseph

    Hi

    I tried googling but am still unsure how many days do you say the seven sorrows and seven joys novena in honour of St. Joseph.

    The word 'Novena' is a Latin word meaning nine, usually a nine day period of prayer!

    Yeah, but! In this case I think there is a special 7 Sunday "novena" and also a 30 day one. So I understand the OP's predicament!

    I think they are best called "popular devotions" rather than novenas.

    That is the problem, I also have the novena in a book but it does not advise when to say or rather how long, so all info thankful

    I found a Novena to St. Joseph on EWTN and it's for nine days, not sure if it's the same one as you have!
