The wooden boardwalk type things that jet out in the sea - have they a specific name?

    a jetty?

Does that mean 'I'm guessing it's a jetty? Or doh! Do you not know it's a jetty? I've asked 3 other people to look at the pic, two said boardwalk and 1 said jetty, do technically that's 2 boardwalks and 2 jettys and I'm still none the wiser.

    A "raised" pier/jetty/boardwalk/dock.

Raised being the key word here i believe

it's an 'elevated wooden footpath/pavement extending out to the sea'
Or it's whatever the extremely rich person who owns the mansion wants to call it....
