    Hello,

Just wondering do people find the Farmers Handbook any good and do many buy it??

Happy Christmas to all and hope 2013 is more profitable than this year

I found it good, if a little expensive, there's no way I'd pay 50 for it, also postage is over €7 so better to go to local office for it.

I assume its the Teagasc Handbook you are speaking about and not The Farmers Handbook (2013) (€17 +€3 p&p)

I get the ACA "the farmers handbook", it gives great up to date costings every year. There is some interesting projections in it this year for a farmer going from 80 to 160 cows. Cash flow for this project is a real eye opener.

I'm just after reading that, looks very optimistic,

Too much advertisements in it. Jesus its hard to separate the info from the advertisements you would be in a daze after reading it.
