So I recently put together a gaming PC and got Windows 8, problem is I got the upgrade version, while I still have the full OS installed I can't use my product key to upgrade because I need a code from the System Builder.

Long story short are codes re-usable? If so would anyone be willing to help me with that, if not could someone direct me to somewhere I could get my hands on a code.

    Thanks a million lads.

You need to install it over a win 7/vista machine to enable your key, then you can activate the new machine.

Is it not possible to to just use a System Builder kit to activate windows? because it is asking for a System builder key.
