Anyone out there have the Samsung Europa? Will it run the usual Android games.. Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja etc?

Getting overly stressed now when I see kids playing around with my SGS3 and wives iPhone 5... maybe something like this might keep them happy :p

Thanks for any help, and to OP for posting.

It'll struggle to play Angry Birds at an acceptable level.
The phone is a dinosaur in mobile phone terms, dating from 2010-2011.
Bad screen, bad CPU, terrible storage space.
    Avoid IMO.

This may very well be a clearance sale. They have no phones on their website now. Hopefully assembling a bigger range for the new year.

I rang countless stores yesterday and they either didn't know about the sale or had no stock. A couple stores even said that they haven't stocked some of the handsets for over a year!

    Where are these "selected" stores?
(I was looking for the desire S or lumia 800 btw)

Did you try the above mentioned "selected stores"?

Yeah I rang the Three store in Cork on Saturday, the day I posted this, just to see if they had the cheapest phone on sale, the Europa.

They didn't have the Europa in stock, didn't know when, or if, it was coming in, and if they did have it I couldn't buy it over the phone anyway, I'd have to come into the store and ..... it'd be an extra €10 for new customers .... :(

I had hoped others would have more luck and that they'd get stock in this week.

Is the HTC One S model the same as this phone being sold on amazon?
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-One-Sim-Free-Smartphone/dp/B007H7G6IE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357082735&sr=8-1

If so is this an unbeatable offer for someone looking for an Android smartphone?

No, HTC Desire S is different phone than the HTC One S, latter is much newer higher spec phone.

Not sure how I managed to miss the fact they have different names... Maybe I can blame the drinks last night.

The fact that they're claiming a saving of €240 on that phone is very misleading. For anyone looking for a new Android I'd say the Hauwei Ascend G330 @ €149 looks a better deal with the slightly larger screen, dual-core processor & more internal memory.

Samsung Europa with cyanogenmod runs fine you can overclock while playing games. However the screen is just too small I wouldn't recommended any touchscreen phone with that resolution or screensize also batterylife is poor in general and on 3g is terrible.
G300 is fantastic for the money good roms available G330 will be even better especially when there are roms out for it. If your budget is really tight I'd look for something secondhand rather that buying a tiny screen.
