What Laptop Should I Buy

I have to warn you all, I have close to the knowledge of laptops as the man who has lived in the wilderness his whole life.

However I need a laptop. I live in Waterford and I go to college so I need one that has a programme for making cover pages for assignments. Ideally it will have a good battery life, good quality screen, disc drive, webcam and a good amount of memory is pretty important too. A reliable brand would be desirable too.

I have between 420-450 as a budget and I'm aware that the sales are on so I'm kinda hoping to pick up a bit of a bargain. Anyone with any suggestions of a laptop that would be good value for money would be much appreciated.

Best to just drop into PCWorld and pick up whatever you can afford. 450 doesnt leave much room for saving online etc..

Use Microsoft word to make cover pages. Theres presentation templates built in that are really professional.
