Correct, but you won't know what race it is prior to it going off.

Yes, they are going to give money-back on all losers in 2 races on 1st Jan. The catch (if you want to call it that) is that they only tell you which races they are after the race has begun and you can no longer place a bet. There will probably be over 30 races on that day so I would regard it as a nice surprise if I got my money back on a loser rather than trying to guess which races will apply. It's always nice to get something for nothing but this offer certainly won't be drawing me into PP on New Year's Day!

Ah ok, that makes more sense.

So basically the two races that they have the least exposure on?

It's a nice surprise if you get your money back but it's not a bet to nothing.

They used to do this regularly in there shops but they come few and far between nowadays.

Wouldn't really tempt you into a PP shop, nice offer for the regulars though no doubt.

The Boyles text specials can be decent, few times a week free bets in next race if you back horse that comes second at a specified meeting. Don't even have to go near a shop to avail.

The best PP offer imo is the enhanced odds on each Ruby Walsh ride. Ruby rides a lot of fancied horses and 6/4 is a lot better than 11/8!
