Hey guys just looking for websites like this one http://www.peterpans.com.au/

Planning the east coast at the moment and booking trips and this is the only website I've used so far.

    Just organise it yourself.

Friends of mine went into Peter Pans and got an quote from them for $3k for four weeks...granted it was inclusive of most things (pretty much everything bar meals) but accommodation was in 6 share hostel rooms and flight back from Cairns was with Jetstar.

We jumped online and packaged up the whole thing (swapping hostels for private rooms in nice 3 and 4 star hotels and trading up to Virgin) and saved them $1k each!!!!

We used website like Wotif, Quickbeds and Hotels.com for the rooms, booked the bus pass direct with Greyhound, the flight direct with Virgin, the tours with companies like Viator, Godo, Adrenalin or Red Balloon or just the operator direct.

Yes, it's a bit more work but seriously...a grand??? Nothing to be sniffed at.

Alternatively, if you plan on campervanning it; this crowd are good for a cheap deal.
