Ebay negative fenagativeedback

    Hi, i brought a item of ebay, i didn't received it, so contacted seller.he said he will sent another one, still didn't receive item, so left negative feedback, to my surprise as soon as i left it my phone rang, its the seller asking why i left feedback? i explain why a and hanged up,he rang again ,i didn't answered.
    i asked how did you get this number? ebay gave it too me.
    i did not know you get harassed by sellers on your home phoned for leaving negative feedback on ebay! will he have my home address as well? it was a genuine reason why i left the feedback. i never got it!

    was the tracking number issued /registered post ?

    When I'm buying a stuff on Ebay ,my phone number will be always shown to the seller on the paypal invoice so they can contact me if there is a problem .
    Also ,is quite useful when couriers ring you in advance to advice you about the delivery time.

    Being harrased by the Ebay seller is another story , report him/her to Ebay .

    When did you buy it? How long have you waited? Did you go to the ebay dispute console? Did you not want your money back?

    Your contact information is always available if the other person in the transactions asks for it. You will have been sent the sellers detail as well.

    As a buyer , theres no need to worry about negative feedback . - raise a claim with paypal to get your money back .

    Edit your eBay profile and remove your telephone number - its not necessary to have it there .

    always correspond in writing

    It is required although it is unlikely that anyone will report unless you are in the position above and the seller will probably report if there is no phone number
